Impressive Cameo Pin Art Deco Brooch

Stunning, classic intricate carved shell cameo pendant or brooch. Handmade from 14 karat white gold in excellent condition dating from circa 1920's.  The carving details of this bust include flowers, leaves and feathers swirling around her head, the precise details tell you that the engraving was done by a master cameo engraver in it's time. Included on her chest is a single European cut diamond weighing .15 carat.  

The angular frame includes four more old cut diamonds, weighing .12 carat total set within a hand carved flower. Additional carved leaves including 4 white seed pearls, beading and hand tooling throughout. The pendant finding is created on a collapsible hinge to allow you to wear as a pendant or use the pin stem and locking catch as a brooch option. A cameo subject with an unusually large diamond for the period.
